Tourists perceive us as laid back and party people but we are pretty busy people. We get a little more laid back once summer hits 🙂

Honestly? Anything goes here! Best food is always a cute little hole in the wall type joint. Many people will tell you that you can’t leave without getting some In-N-Out and I can say from personal experience that it IS better from California than any other place you might find one!

All Day 😉 breakfast is almost a religion! It is all about eggs and bacon and breakfast tacos and sausage and pancakes and waffles and orange juice! Not all at once of course!

Baseball and football are pretty big here

Go skydiving or swimming with sharks
What excursions and/or activities do you extremely suggest that visitors MUST do?
Go to an All-you-can-eat buffet. You aren’t in the USA unless you stuff yourself full of food until it’s almost hard to breath!
Are there any local customs a visitor should be sensitive to?
If someone avoids your gaze, they don’t want to talk

Yosemite National park is beautiful
Where can visitors find the best beach?
It depends on what your looking for. Santa Cruz boardwalk is great if you are looking for entertainment and people. Pebble beach is great for gentle waves (great for small kids). Agate beach is small and secluded.
If I’m staying for less than a week, which city should I choose?
Also depends on what your looking for. People and entertainment I would recommend Southern California, LA area. Central California, Sacramento area also has entertainment but less people and more options if you want to experience beaches, snow, forest, and desert; all within 2 hours. Northern California, Eureka area, is super calm and beautiful if you are looking for a relaxing place to stay.
