Depends who you meet, hard to stereotype an entire country

Each region really has it’s own local delicacies, but in general meat and potatoes is pretty standard. The coasts have good seafood, the South has Cajun/Creole. Farm-to-table is a big trend.

Best drink? Local drink to try?
Kentucky bourbon

How is breakfast served in your country?
A standard American breakfast typically includes eggs, potatoes, and bacon (duh). Brunch is also serious business.


The best festival to attend?
Coachella, Burning Man or Mardi Gras

Which sport are you guys crazy about?
American football

What excursions and/or activities do you extremely suggest that visitors MUST do?
Visit as many of the national parks as possible


What is/are the most surreal places/landmarks to visit?
Sooo many! The Grand Canyon, Valley of Fire, Yellowstone, Statue of Liberty

Oh gosh, depends how many states you want to hit. Each city is worthy of at least 3-4 days.

When is the best time to visit?

Can you give an interesting trivia about your country? 
There’s a rumor that the founding fathers originally wanted the mascot to be a rattlesnake or a turkey, not a bald eagle because their chirp isn’t exactly intimidating.

What is your country’s most popular stereotype/cliché?
Red solo cups at parties


Are you a traveler? Which place is your favorite so far?
Absolutely – Thailand, Patagonia, Turkey…the list goes on and on.

What’s your best travel story?
I became a certified Viking in Iceland – it’s basically the best resume builder ever.

Why do you love traveling? 
Life is short and the world is wide. There’s just so much to learn and explore and the more you travel, the more you see that at the end of the day, we’re really not that different.
